The The Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy (MNMA) is a higher learning institution originating from the Kivukoni College, established on 29th July 1961.
It has a history of being the only institution that has sustainably maintained a track record of building the capacity of public leaders to practice ethical leadership, particularly during the era of a one-party system of national leadership and governance.
The Mission of the MNMA is to dedicate itself to the advancement of lifelong learning through excellence in teaching, research, consultancy and public service in a challenging and supportive learning environment where the pursuit of knowledge, creative enquiry, critical thinking and applied skills are cultivated and sustained.
