The Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) is Tanzania's oldest and largest health sciences university, ranked 1st in Tanzania, 3rd in Sub-Saharan Africa, 5th in Africa and among the top 500 universities worldwide, per the Times Higher Education Magazine in 2023.
MUHAS has memoranda of understanding (MOUs) with universities and organisations worldwide. Specifically, on digital health and innovations, we have MOUs with different institutions including Mälardalens University (MDU) in Sweden, and LM International (LMI), the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) in Germany, the Ministry of Health Zanzibar, Ministry of Health Tanzania,eGovernment Authority in Tanzania.
